Useful English words with Meanings - Part 2

Everyday we used to read newspaper and we find new words but we don't know the meaning of the words. Here I am going to share few words which I have taken from my learning process.

Professional and commonly used English words with their meanings.

The words are Anticipating, Proactive, Assertive, Procrastinate, etiquette, Prowess, Probing, Staycation.



The English words and meanings:

  1. Anticipating - expect or predict
  2. Proactive - make things happen 
  3. Assertive - express your opinions clearly 
  4. Procrastinate - delay
  5. etiquette - rules of polite and correct behaviour 
  6. Prowess - great skill with doing something
  7. Probing - to ask questions in order to find out  secret or hidden information 
  8. Staycation - holiday or vacation spent at home or nearby
